As you are aware that the World Food Day is celebrated every year on 16th October. The College of Food Processing Technology and Bio Energy at Anand Agricultural University also celebrates the World Food Day in the form of two days technical festival every year. It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that the College is organizing a two days National Seminar-cum-Tech Fest “ADROIT’14” on the occasion of World Food Day during October 15-16, 2014, at Anand. The National Seminar focuses on the theme: “Food Quality and Safety- New Technologies and Applications”. As part of the Tech Fest various events such as New Product Development, Food Quiz, Business Idea, Ad Making, Model Making, Poster Presentation, Interactive Session, etc. will be organized. Adroit’14 is all about bringing new perspectives towards the field of food processing by spreading awareness and encouraging infinite potential of human minds to generate ideas. It serves as an ideal platform for academicians, researchers, undergraduate and postgraduate students to deliberate on the subject and present innovative ideas. We invite students and faculty of different colleges having related subjects on food throughout the country. It is expected that about 500 delegates from different parts of India will be participating this time.
